The promotion of economic development is one of the fundamental ways to overcome social inequality, capable of creating favorable conditions for ensuring the well-being of the population and more sustainable societies. For this reason, the CIFAL network has made possible projects that encourage the innovation and strengthening of strategic sectors for the economic development of countries.
CIFAL Curitiba believes that education is one of these strategic sectors. Therefore, in order to stimulate reflection on the role of the sciences in country development, initiatives to promote STEM careers (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) have been prioritized to present young people with possibilities of transforming the economy and society through scientific research and technical innovation.
