The International Training Center for Authorities and Leaders (CIFAL) came to Brazil in 2003, and established its office in Curitiba-PR. Since 2009, CIFAL Curitiba has been located within the Fiep System, in partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research – UNITAR.
CIFAL Curitiba is responsible for developing training programs and promoting technical cooperation that contributes to sustainable urban development and the achievement of the United Nations Agenda 2030.
In accordance with local demands and realities, CIFAL Curitiba works in four main target areas: Agenda 2030; Economic Development; Urban Government and Planning. In partnership with the Fiep System, CIFAL Curitiba has developed actions that encourage cooperation between industry, public power, and civil society in the promotion of the SDG and the search for inclusive, innovative and sustainable development.
